Cookie Policy

This document explains what cookies and similar storage we use on ThaiSparks, why we use them, and what your choices are.

Strictly necessary

These are required for the service to function. We use them to:

• Keep you signed in across pages once you have clicked your sign-in link.
• Protect form submissions from cross-site request forgery.
• Remember which legal-document versions you have accepted, so we can show you a re-acceptance prompt at the right moment.

You cannot turn these off and continue using the service — sign-in literally would not work without them. We do not use these cookies for tracking; they only carry the information needed to deliver the page you requested.

Analytics

We use an analytics provider to understand how people use ThaiSparks — which pages get visited, where people stop, which features get used. This is how we decide what to fix next. The provider receives event names and properties, but not your raw profile data or message content.

By default, when you first visit the site, analytics is on. You can turn it off at any time in Settings → Notifications & Privacy. When you turn it off, no further analytics events about your activity are sent.

Advertising

On our marketing pages, the signup flow, and the payment screens, we share a limited amount of data with advertising partners so we can measure how well our advertising works — for example, whether someone who clicked an ad went on to create an account or subscribe. This sharing happens only on those surfaces. It does NOT happen inside the app: once you are signed in and browsing profiles or messaging, no advertising data is shared.

You can decline advertising cookies using the banner shown on our marketing pages, and declining stops the in-browser advertising tags from loading. Some measurement may still be reported to our advertising partners directly from our servers on the basis of your acceptance of our Terms, even if you decline the cookie. The data shared is limited to a hashed version of your email address, an account reference, advertising-click identifiers, and your browser type — never your messages, your profile details, your exact location, or your date of birth.

Other browser storage

In addition to cookies, we use browser local storage and session storage for the same purposes (keeping you signed in across pages, remembering in-app preferences, anti-fraud signals). The same controls apply — clearing your browser data will reset these too.

How to clear cookies

You can clear cookies through your browser at any time. Clearing them will sign you out of the service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes (changes to what is tracked, or the introduction of new categories of cookie) will be announced at least 30 days in advance by email and in-app notice.
